To be
considered please:
Submit at least one sample review
List all previous writing experience, credentials
List which genres for which
you have
the most expertise
You will be contacted for more
information if your sample meets our needs.
Review
format:
Any length over 500 words is acceptable- looking for detailed, in-depth
reviews
Include plot summary (but no spoilers!)
Include details on style, characterization, plot and settings.
What was the book's strengths? Weaknesses?
Include title, author, publisher, genre
Quotes from book when relevant and from final copy
Things to keep in mind:
Unfortunately
we can not pay for reviews at this time.
We invite dedicated reviewers to submit a detailed bio that will be
included on our reviewers' page.
Reviews should be submitted within 3 weeks of receiving the book. Books
will generally be mailed from the publisher or author. Let us know when
it arrives.
Honesty is a must but please be kind, there is someone's heart and soul
in each book. If you find a book is truly not to your taste please
contact us ASAP so that we can try to find another reviewer.
Books are yours to keep or share but not to sell.
Reviews may be edited but content will not change without your ok
Reviews may also be posted on author websites, media releases and
other book sites as
appropriate.
You must check and answer email on a daily basis (within reason, of
course)
If you plan to repost your review elsewhere:
* As of 11/1/07 reviews must be posted at Front Street first. After it is posted
there you are welcome to repost on your blog

give original posting credit to Front Street Reviews with the
link and let us
