T
T:  An Auto-biography

Feather Schwartz Foster

Feather Schwartz Foster has written a delightful tale about the life of a Model-T.  Yes, it is truly an "auto-biography."  It begins with T's birth when he rolls out of the Ford factory to become transportation for a family doctor. They travel together mending broken bones and delivering babies. The story continues to follow T's adventure through his many reincarnations from family car to demolition derby. His final appearance is surprising and heart warming.

The characters range from T himself, a sensitive guy, to his friends, both the two legged and the four wheeled kind including the glamorous Gloria, the beautiful but snooty white Cadillac.  Readers will enjoy getting to know the various friends of T as he travels through the years.

Feather Foster has managed to write a book for younger children that is a fun story intertwined with American history.  Families will like discussing the glimpses into our past and it makes a wonderful lauch pad to future learning.
