I truly enjoyed reading this book. The author is "real and not
plastic" in his words. He reflects on his life and his walk with Jesus.
You know someone is really genuine in his speech when he tells how he
struggles just like the rest of us do with trials that come our way and
shows it in his words.
I found myself nodding my head in agreement with things he dealt with
that I have dealt with in my life, some recently. It's comforting to
know that others seem to have the same feelings. Often
times the encouragement we need to keep going on honestly doesn't
come. Mr. Baker gives encouragement in the form of an example of
how he worked through the ordeals and frustrations so as you know too
that you can go on and overcome all this.
This book is a very good read and you may find yourself not wanting to
put the book down. I know I had a hard time putting the
book down. I wanted to keep reading, keep getting encouraged,
keep identify with "yes, been there too", and keep learning.
